Ice Breakers and Fun Group Activities. Ice Breakers include “People to People”, “38”, “Ching Cho Cha”, etc.

Dividing Teams ±10pp/team

The entire group stand in a circle and everybody get a number. All the “number 1’s” would be in a team, and all the “number 2’s” in another team, etc. Allow about ten people per team

Amazing Race Imagination

This is a fun race against Imagination, Creativity, Riddles, and Raffles. Team have to complete a short detour, solve a puzzle, find iconic places, search for imaginary things, and finally complete a challenge, i.e. balancing a set of nails.

Escape Room Treasure Hunt

We are not allowed to lock people in a room, this game is partly indoors. Teams have to "break in" and the solve code to open a digital safe. Each team get an UV Torch, and have to find clues written with Invisible Ink. Clues include riddles and puzzles, and one clue leads to another – pretty much like the Hollywood blockbuster “Da Vinci Code”

11h00 - Refreshment Break

Assorted Toasted Sandwiches and Bottled Water. Sandwiches include Chick Mayo and Tom & Cheese

11h00 - BraaiMaster Mystery Boxes (±10/team)

Each team receives a Mystery Box with Herbs, Spices, Utensils, Charcoal and Braais. Teams take the braais home after the event. One team will get the tomatoes and pepper, while the other team the onions and salt etc. Teams have to build a meat platter that represents a country, i.e. Mexico, Thailand, Spain etc.                                                                    

  • New Charcoal Braais - each braai get a new braai in the box (halaal). Teams keep the braais after the event, or give it to the BraaiMaster in that team.                                                              
  • New Braai Utensils - new disposable utensils (halaal), veggie knives, spoons, cutting boards, mixing bowls, mop caps, chef hats, aprons, gloves                                                                         
  • Herbs & Spices  - basil, turmeric, bay leaves, capers, cardamom, chives, cloves, fennel, garlic, jasmine, nutmeg, oregano, paprika, saffron, curry, thyme, turmeric etc                                                Charcoal, Fire Lighters                                                               
  • Lamb, Beef and Chicken – ask for the receipt from Forsmay Muslim Butchery (011 838 5720) or Laudium Muslim Halal Butchery (012 374 3415), ±350g per person. We regret, to maintain our halal status, no pork whatsoever.

Judging

One person from each team is chosen as a judge, that person must select a criteria, i.e. taste, texture, presentation etc. Each judge must select a different criteria

The Braai Platters and Lunch

The braai is served with Pap, Gravy, 6 Assorted Salads, and Garlic Rolls. Paper plates and plastic cutlery are available for halal meals. Soft Drinks include 340ml Coke, Sprite, Bottled Water etc.
