Team Building at the Pretoria Botanical Garden is inclusive of a full breakfast at the Milkplum Café, 11 o’clock refreshments, and a buffet braai. The team building at the Pretoria Botanical Garden has low physical requirements, and is fit for all ages.
Start with a hearty breakfast at the Milkplum Cafe, followed by an Amazing race with low physical requirements, and a MasterChef BraaiMaster at the Botanical Garden Braai Area.
MasterChef BraaiMaster Pretoria Botanical Garden
The Braai Area at the Botanical Garden is a semi-private braai area. The venue does have a lapa with electricity, and works on a first come basis. Venue Hire (R1500 +R60pp), Tables (R30ea), Chairs (R10ea), Tables Cloths, etc. Please note that the toilets are at the entrance, about 300m from the Braai Area.
09h00 English Breakfast at Milkplum Cafe at the Botanical Garden
Bottomless coffee and jugs of fruit juice. Order breakfast from the Milkplum Café Menu. Menu items include Cheese Omelets, English Breakfasts, Garden Breakfast, French Toast, Crumpet Breakfast, Breakfast Pizza, etc. This is a huge brekkie with beautiful nearby attractions (i.e. waterfall), allow about one hour for this breakfast
10h00 Ice Breakers, Group Activities, and Dividing Teams
The entire group do fun activities, at some time the mix of buddies and friends will be split apart. Then everybody get a number. All the “number 1’s” would be in a team, and all the “number 2’s” in another team, etc. About ten people per team works great for a team building event.
Amazing Race on the Botanical Garden Mountain Top to the Botanical Garden Braai Area (±300 meters)
Our Amazing Race has low physical requirements and is fit for all ages. Each of our venues have their own unique Amazing Race. Teams start with a short detour, then they have to find interesting places and WhatsApp a group photo, find puzzles of actual places, and finally they finish by finding an iconic venue. These photos are shown in a slide slow during lunch. Our Amazing Race is hilarious and requires lots of imagination and creativity.

11h00 MasterChef BraaiMaster Botanical Garden
This BraaiMaster takes place at the end of the maze, in the middle of the maze. Each team get a Mystery Box with a flip braai grid, charcoal, firelighters, chef hats, aprons, and utensils. Mystery Boxes also may include herbs, spices, sauces, plastic chrome cutlery and Crockery etc, and teams have to “trade” or “swop” these goodies to braai. Meat include Beef, Lamb, Chicken, and Spicy Wors (all meat is halaal, ask for butcher’s receipt). Teams have to make kebabs or skewers that represents a cuisine from a country. Kebabs and Skewers are popular Street Food in Greece, Spain, Turkey, Romania, Portugal, Pakistan, India, Thailand, and China. Popular kebabs include Sosatie, Souvlaki, Kofta Kebabs (meatballs), Tikka Chicken and Tandoori Masala. Take some braai home for Take Aways.

Braai is served with Six Assorted Salads, usually Greek Salad, Potato Salad, Fruit Salad, Coleslaw, Noodle Salad, and Carrot. Soft Drinks include 340ml Coke, Sprite etc. Chrome plastic cutlery, paper or plastic plates
Halaal, Vegan, and Vegetarian Meals are included. We regret, bring your own Kosher Meals.
